population n space

u know with the growing speed of our population... there will soon be a day when we wont have lands under our feet to stand on. when my dad came to siliguri... it was all jungle. the cost of land then was as low as free. he bought enough of them. enough for his 5 children. but now you hardly get to see free land. go out to buy one... you wont find much. choice is very limited. and if you wanna buy your selected land... you will have to loose some huge bugs.
There are still places.. like siliguri was 40 years ago. but their number is a very few... and the number of people like my father is very very high now. there is not many free land. and every year we loose some land to oceans through floods and tsunamis etc.
what will happen when every inch of land has a stamp of its owner on it. what will happen to our coming generations... wont they have a property of their own. wont they have dreams of 'having their own home on their own lands'.
dreams never end... yes my future generations will dream of 'having their own house' and ' having their own property'. 'property' not necessarily means land. more important than land in the earth there is another thing called "space". the basic dream of every individual is of having 'their own space' and not 'their own land'.
how many floors can a buliding have. there is a limit right? yes. even that will end. what after that?
Here is the answer......
we have underground stations, markets etc... so why not underground cities? that is possible right!
we can fly through air. when we go to london from delhi... it takes 1 hour. that is, we stay in air for 1 hour. why cant we stay in the air longer. we can... how long ... lifetime? yes that is possible.
we have under sea trains. so we can have under sea cities? evrything is possible isnt it?
when we enter a buliding we locate ourselves as we are in 2nd floor or 3rd floor of the buliding. there will be a day when we will be walking on the road, talking to our friend on the mobile telling him that i am in 5th layer or zone of earth, where are you?
automobiles will be an extinct feature, planes will be used to move around. if there will be automobiles, buliding walls will be used as roads. we will have evrything then, but we will miss somehthing... thats NATURE. Nature will be absent. we will be living in an artificial world. but one part of nature will always be there. WE, the people. there will be people walking under you, above you, along with you. there will be people everywhere. first nature created people, and then we kill nature to accomadate more people. i fear we will have to pay for this. we are heading for a disaster... a very big disaster. u know this but you cant stop this.

1) my personal goals: 10 years from now.. iwant to see myself as a self made man. and all my achievements must be the results of my own honest efforts.
professional goals: i want to establish myself as one of the best professionals in the computer world. and i want to be a software programmer.

amity provides world class education and is a great atmosphere for future succesful people.i believe amity will help in making my dreams come true.

2) strengths : ambitious, hardworking.
weakness: poor handling of personal finance, procrastination.

3) i have studied for 2 years in BSF school. those two years had educated me about the benefits of disciplined life. i m positive thinker, an active worker and i beleive in team work. i will interact with my classmates and share with them all my knowledge and help them to grow, along with me, into a better person.

4) i was in class 4 when i was first introduced to computers. there was a single pc in our school that i wasnt ablt to see for the whole year. i didnt made an effort and my lack of interest was the reason i failed in that subject. after that i promised myself, that i will proove to be a better student in computers. and i did. from next year till class 10.. i was a high scorer in computers. and after class 12 i took up BCA.

5) throughout my school life, i had always failed in my 3rd language subject as a result i never got a rank till class 8. in class 9, when there was no 3rd language subject, i got rank for the first time and i stood third in class. this made me and evryone else realize that i was quite a good student. i had never experienced that in last 4 years. with a bit more effort in my 3rd language i could have got good rank. this made me realize how important every subject is. we shoulnt ignore a subject just bcoz its boring. studying it will only help me more and ignoring it will be a great loss.

another situation: in class 9 , i was weak in science but pretty gud in every other subject. i stood third in annual term exam.. and overall for the year my grand total stood third. but i wasnt given a prize bcoz i had failed in science in one of the terms and the boy whose total was fourth highest but was passed in all the subjects was given the award. i really felt bad that day but it made me realize my mistake. from then on i had always given importance to every subject and never took any thing lightly/ casually.

5) its true that the ancient knowledge and their way of teaching were invaluabe and can never be bettered. so its important we must always follow it, but then with the change in situations, everything needs to change. the educational environment then and now are different. in todays modern world its important that we develope plans that will suite our modern needs. i believe amity has considered this and doing its best to provide us with the same. it will be of immense help to us.

so many days have passed and i haent written anything. i think i should write but the moment i sit .. i go blank or i dont find anything intersteing to write about. i have a avery weak memory. my memory doesnt holds anything for long. things pass away quickly from my head. but i know something tat i m quick. i think a lot of things in a very short span of time.
i have realized something.. i need to be alone to write someting. i dont like people paying attention to me when i wite something. bcoz when people are around me.. i think of them. my attention is on them rather than on my wrtings. i thought i was a self-conscios guy.. but i m more concious of other people than myself. instead rather.. i think i m more conscious of people who r paying attention to me. so i n way i m self concious person. but so i m.. i cant change. ther rae various kind of peple. evry one is different from other. its not tat i m the first person of my kind to walk on earth. there have been people who were like me. who used to think like i do.. not in the exactly way.. but similarly. bcoz no one is exactly as other. n people had lived. some successfully.. other withot much sucess.
its very confusing and difficult to define success. its depends on person .. and what does he values in life... what does he wants from life. for me money is not the most imp thing. but it is imp. i dont wanna live earning money n money. i dont want to be rich with money but i want to be sucessful rather i want my life to be a success. i want to make a purpose out of my life. a purpose to do things tat i want to do. n wat i want to do? ther r lot of things.. i want to learn music, i want to learn about computers more n more, i want to do a lot of mathematics bcoz it gives me a high. sry doing maths gives a high? i ask myself again.. i doubt.. i realize its not doing maths tat gives me a high.. instead its the recognition .. the appreciation tat i get gives me a high. appreciation is final thing tat i want. i want to be appreciated in the thing i do and i will do only thoose thngs tat i want to do. isnt it be so bad if u keep on doing thngs tat u love to do n nobody likes it. the things u like.. u want to share it with others n wish tat they will like too. n only after other people like ur deeds... u feel the complete happiness. so is life making people happy? is it about making others happy?yes for me it is. i will be happy if i could make other people happy. note the sentence: ï will be happy if i make other people happy" . taht is it.. every person on earth lives because he wants to be happy. its just the differnt things that make diffrerent people happy. i feel happy when i can make other people happy. i believe this is not just the case with me.. but every other human being. a person who says he wants to earn money n power... ask him why? he will say he wants tat bcoz that will make him happy. ask him if he doensnt gets money n power y will he be unhappy? he will say yes but y? bcoz he will think his life is a waste. he will think he couldnt live up to the expectations? n expectations of whom ? these whom are the "öthers" the people. a person wishes to earn power n money.. bcoz then he thinks he will earn respect from 'people'. bcoz then he will think people will appreciate him. that is.. we all live in order to make others happy.. make other feel glad of us.. make others feel jealous of us... make others follow us... make others love us... make others like us. we all live for the interest of the others.
imagine living alone in this world. imagine tat evr one is dead n u r leftalone living in this world with evry thing open to u. what would u do? i would do all those tat i wanted to do. eat all my favourites food.. watch all the movies.. travel evrywhere..use evrything bcoz there is nobody to stop me or to say anything to me. but soon i will run short of my 'wants'. i will do evrything tat i was restricted to do. after tat i will have nothign to do. bcoz nobody is expecting me to do anything. i wont know what to do. i wont be able to decide what to do. to live or die... evn this i wont be able to decide. evrything will go blank. evrything will go empty. evrythign will be unimportant.

but sudenly if u u get one boy alive. a whole world of new series of "wants"comes to live. u will suddenly feel like doing lots of things with him. talk, go around, play, do this n do tat. n all this just bcoz someone is there whom u r living for. he is the reason for u to be alive.
so we all live just for others. no one is selfish. even if he wants to be.. he cant be. bcoz whateve he does is influenced by the reason which is the "people". evry act of ours has the same reason " the others".

what is the diff between a shidney sheldon novel and shakespeare's?
both are stories of course, but in shakespears u wont find the so many twist n turns as in shidney's. that is it. sidney fills 400 pages of his bk by the stories and stories inside the stories. u dont learn from that bk. there are many characters .. so many of them. and each charcter has a story. thats the way 400 pages are filled.
but in shakes[eare there are few charcters.. and when u r done with bk u will know and understnd the characters. the charcters reamin with u even after u finish the bk. shakespear doesnt write stories, he writes about charcters. he understands people, studies them, goes through their minds. thats what a true writer is. everyone can make a story but very few can make charcters.. imaginary characters, define them. their nature ,their behaviour , the way they think and write about them as if they were living practically. when u read shakespeare, u can clearly make out about the charecters in the bk. u get so claer about them that u would know how a character would behave in this n that situation. u can make it out urself. as if u can write a bk using that charcter again urself.

but both are stories. stories are stories they r not real, they cant be real. sidney's characters are too imaginary to be real. they are super humans. shakespeare's characters are too perfect to be real. there are no perfect people. all human beings in general are confused. there are situatons when they dont know how to behave. it happens with evryone of us. its very hard to say always what u want to say. else evryone in this world would be happy.. would be relieved!
i have a diff taste for novels. ask someone y u do read novels? there may be 2 reasons. one.. to improve english and to pass time. ok then read sidney sheldon. that bk will hold u on till the very end.
i read bcoz i want to pass time, improve my english and i dont want to read about imaginary stories and fictions.. the stories which i could have written as well. i want to read about people, understand them, theri mind. when u read shakespeare every act of the character looks justified. bcoz u know the character should behave in that way.. u expect that charecter to behave in that way only. the charecter justifies his behaviour. and the behaviur suits his character. and thats y i prefer true stories. bcoz no part of it is fiction/false.
but thn stories r stories they cant be real. no story is close to be real. but only shakespeare's. but his arnt stories.. he writes about characters. i prefre novels in which a character is sketched not just a story is written.
